Despite being considered a criminal offense in Brazil

Controversial opening of new gaming venue with 460 slots in Porto Alegre

Located on Av. Da Cavalhada, 5148, 'Winfil' will open on September 26th. The new venue will have more than 40 types of games in 460 machines, 24 hours, every day of the week, with capacity for 1,500 people, restaurant and free parking. About 200 employees are involved in the venture. Porto Alegre’s justice no longer considers crime the practice of games but for the STF it continues being criminal contravention.

Facing an unclear legal situation with a risk of closing, a group of investors decided to open a gaming venue in Porto Alegre. The invitations of Winfil, home of entertainment with an unprecedented service of games in the country, are already being distributed in Porto Alegre.

The architectural project was planned by VinteUm Architects with the theme of the French capital, Paris, in two and a half months. At the main entrance, there will be a reproduction of the Arc de Triomphe. In the second entry, a replica of the Eiffel Tower with 7.5 meters will be placed along with a three-dimensional drawing of Avenue Champs Elysees. Already in the parking lot, it was designed a copy of the Louvre in metal and tempered glass.

Rogério Dell'Erba Guarnieri, one of the partners in the new venue, says that he has been defending the legalization of the business in Brazil for more than 14 years, and admits that there is a great distrust of the Brazilian in relation to the activity.
