Neteller will no longer process gaming deposits from Brazilian members

Neteller users were surprised to receive an email from the company saying they it will not receive any more deposits from members of Brazil as of February 21. What led Neteller to take this step was the regulatory process they seek in the country. If the country sets a regulation of gambling in the coming months or years, it is likely that the service will return.

Neteller will close its services to gambling merchants (bookmakers) for people residing in Brazil. On 21 February players will no longer be allowed to deposit in betting sites and, until the 28th of the month, they will be able to withdraw their profits.

This will make it difficult for people who use Neteller frequently among the most diverse bookmakers. What led Neteller to take this step was the regulatory process they seek in the country. If the country sets a regulation of gambling in the coming months or years, it is likely that the service will return.

Neteller’ statement:

Dear,

We are writing to inform you that, with effect from February 21, 2018, NETELLER will no longer process deposits from members in Brazil for gambling merchants.

You will still be able to withdraw funds from gambling merchants to your NETELLER account until February 28, 2018.

Aside from the above change, your account will remain fully operational and you may continue to transact using your account for non-gambling related transactions as normal.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regards,

NETELLER Team

There are many other ways to deposit and withdraw money from bookmakers. But unfortunately there is no service as fast as Neteller's to do it. From now on Brazilians can look for other options, but as long as the houses open deposits.

Among the remaining deposit options, such as bank ticket, credit cards and bank transfer, are PayPal, which is also an online payment company and works similarly to Neteller. But a minority of bookmakers accept PayPal as a form of deposit and withdrawal. It is expected that, with Brazilians not being able to use Neteller, the houses will seek the availability of PayPal.

Entropay is also another online wallet that can be used to replace Neteller. Its use is accepted in a greater number of bookmakers and it becomes an interesting alternative for those who used to work with Neteller.

What has been gaining strength worldwide are the crypto-coins. This name is in evidence because of Bitcoin. Many bookmakers are accepting Bitcoin as money to deposit and withdraw money. Some are even offering bonuses to anyone who makes their first crypto-coins deposit. But it's not only the Bitcoin that has been gaining ground: Ethereum, Monero, NEO, Litecoin and IOTA are other crypto-coins that are stealing the scene.
