6/3/2017 | The reading I make of the Brazilian games market and the infraconstitutional legislation developed in the National Congress, inspires me to follow with optimism the progress of the proposals of rules that will govern the exploration of games in casinos, bingo halls and aotteries in the country (PLS 186/2014, PL 442/91 and others).

14/3/2017 | I was recently consulted on the repercussion of the admissibility of Extraordinary Appeal RE 966.177/RS by STF (Brazilian Supreme Court), an action that questions the favorable treatment given by the Rio Grande do Sul judiciary to those who exploit gaming in that state. In response to the querent, I emphasized the publication of Federal Law n. 13,300, of June 23, 2016 - Law of Warrant of Injunction.

30/10/2018 | The victory of Jair Bolsonaro in the elections for President of Brazil reflects the will of the majority of the people for change. In this context, I note that the regime of previous governments opted to "tolerate clandestine gambling and prohibit legal one" in such a way that the only significant change for the market, is to reverse this order as an independent necessity of ideological position of government.
