OGS 2019: A fair that complied with good business

Carlos Cardama, CEO of Games Magazine Brasil, gives a positive balance of the Online Gaming Summit (OGS) that took place this week along with the São Paulo Affiliate Congress at the Allianz Parque. With extensive experience and participation in this type of meetings, Cardama ensures that “it was a very productive event with business options for the attendees, and successfully crowned Clarion Gaming's dedication to the Brazilian gaming market.”

Attending various trade shows around the world for many years and getting to know the gaming industry in depth makes us have critical eyes on the events and their results. Beautiful fairs, with many exhibitors and visitors is always a business card for the organizers, but OGS 2019, which took place this week (December 9-10), and affiliate conference SPAC (11th) in São Paulo, awoke an even more interesting feeling in me.

It was an event of many productive business for the participants and successfully crowned Clarion Gaming's dedication to the Brazilian gaming market.

This year's OGS, rich in information well presented on our news portal, has brought exhibitors to key people in the sports betting market and delivered to them important businesses that will consolidate not only now, but over the first few months of 2020.

Virtually, all exhibitors reported to me important deals that happened during the event and others that will be dealt with on the upcoming weeks. Some market players who visited OGS reported the same, pointing out the quality of the exhibitors and the fair, worthy of already traditional international events.

This result is thank to Clarion Gaming's understanding that the Brazilian market is rapidly developing and that sports betting regulation will be the initial step for other possibilities within the gaming industry.

Here is my gratitude to Sérgio Jardim, Clarion's manager in Brazil, who demonstrated extreme care in organizing the event, and his team, who worked hard to deliver to the exhibitors the main players in the sports betting market.

The participation of Tim Potter, managing director of Clarion, demonstrates how much the OGS organizer is aware of the movements of the Brazilian gaming market, his feeling about it and the possibilities of insertion of Brazil in the world gaming market was fundamental for the strengthening of Clarion's work in this direction.

No wonder they decided that in 2020 it will be held the “Gaming Latin America Brazil”, a fair that will combine its two main events, BgC and OGS, as well as the affiliate conference. Holding a unique event with these contents gathered in an exhibition pavilion (Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo), is another demonstration of the attention that the Brazilian market arouses and opens the possibility of a wide gaming fair, like the best events from around the world. Other products and services that serve the gaming industry more broadly may be presented depending on the course of activity during the first half of the year.

To Clarion is here our recognition and thanks for what it has done for the Brazilian market. With dedication and professionalism of its staff, they offered what is most expected at a fair: Good Business.
