Fourth edition of BgC kicks off today in Sao Paulo

After two succesfull events held last year, the Brasilian Gaming Congress becomes once again the center of attention of the gaming industry that looks with mayor interest the opening of the local market. Today and tomorrow, at São Paulo's Tivoli Mofarrej, politicians, regulators, operators and suppliers will give a wide overview of the situation of the potential brazilian market in more tan 20 sessions and work groups.

Complementing BgC held in May and November 2016 in Brasilia & Sao Paulo, which saw over 250 and 400 people attend respectively, to share regulation and policy best practice with law makers deciding the shape of legislation.

BgC 2017 is an opportunity to discuss critical information on commercial and product requirements, necessary to prepare for entry into a new market. As multinational clients begin to forge local partnerships, the Congress comes at a time when the industry strives to finally get to grips with legislation and understand the likelihood of various forms of gambling to be legalised and regulated.

The event will have a sharp political focus with no fewer than five Federal Deputies providing their insight on the progress of one of the gaming industry’s most eagerly awaited programmes of deregulation. The quintet of Federal Deputies, comprising Augusto Coutinho, Elmar Nascimento, Herculano Passos, Roberto de Lucena and Magda Mofatto, are amongst a total of 50 thought leaders who will be speaking at the Clarion Gaming organised event.

Today, Monday 26th, the activity begins with a welcome coffee for all the attendees and three key talks during the morning. After a break for breakfast, during the afternoon a total of eight sessions divided in two Streams (A and B) and two work groups are scheduled.
