Betfair took the magic of Bracelona to its
fans who won the # MagicOfBarça promotion. The fans participated in a training
and in the end had a surprise with nobody but Rivaldo, the former Barcelona player
and Ballon d'Or winner in 1999.
Invited by Barcelona and Betfair to participate in # MagicOfBarça, Rivaldo
underwent a transformation to play and became Roberto da Silva. With hair,
beard and false nose Rivaldo was unrecognizable. And he even started on the bench.
Rivaldo, or Roberto da Silva, entered the game when his team lost by 1 × 0.
But even without playing for years Rivaldo showed why he was the best player in
the world. With a show of skill, speed and intelligence he led his Betfair fan
team to the victory, winning by 2 to 1 and was still chosen the best of the
match. At the end of the game Roberto da Silva reveals who he really was.
The players of both teams couldn’t believe their eyes when discovered that in
addition to being one of the best Brazilian players of all time, could play
alongside him by trying # MagicOfBarça. Rivaldo said he was very happy to
participate in this Betfair promotion.

of fun, I've never done anything like this before! There were a few moments
where I thought people suspected I was someone else, but when I saw the
surprised faces of the fans at the end of the match, I knew we had succeeded. I
