At least two foreign groups (from France and the US) are
ready to install casinos in Brazil, according to the newspaper O Estado de São
Paulo. The decision depends only on the final law that would be approved.
The innimente approval of a new gaming
law in Brazil begins to attract investors and key foreign companies see in the
South American giant a great business opportunity.
In the blog of
the prestigious magazine, by journalists Andreza Matar and Fernando de Moraes, it
is said that the Frenchs are supported by Arabs investors and the Americans by
an Italian consortium.
Different sources indicate that the CCJ (Commission for Constitution, Justice
and Citizenship) would define the new project rapporteur (PL 186/2014) in
February or early March for treatment in plenary.
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives must deal with that at the same time. With the other project, Law (PL 442/91), Brazil analyzes the return of an activity that generate billions of dollars in taxes and thousands of jobs in a time of crisis in the country.
