The matter is in the Commission of Constitution, Justice and Citizenship and the president of the CCJ, Edison Lobão, marked the voting of the project for the next Wednesday (6).
According to Oliveira, "it is a matter like so many others that are in the House". It is not a priority agenda of Congress.
“If it is only to legalize the business world that lives in the clandestine, it does not have sense the agenda. It only makes sense if taxes are tied to a system that will benefit society such as public safety and health," he said.
Oliveira also commented that if this legalized segment generates employment and income for society and generates taxes for these two areas that concern Brazilian society, he would not have difficulty to include it in the agenda, but said that the final decision is the Plenary.
