According to Deputy Pompeo de Mattos (PDT-RS), a meeting took place last week with people related to the sector and also with the president of the Chamber, Deputy Rodrigo Maia. Casinos, as they are a more sophisticated gaming house, should be only two or three per state. Bingo and electronic games would be allowed in several cities. And jogo do bicho, being very popular, would be regulated for all the cities of the country.

The projects that deal with the releases of games of chance in Brazil, begin to gain space in the Federal Chamber.

According to Deputy Pompeo de Mattos - PDT-RS, last week, a meeting took place with people related to the gaming industry and with the president of the Chamber, Deputy Rodrigo Maia.

As casinos are a more sophisticated kind of gaming house, the deputy says, Rodrigo Maia sees the project with good eyes.

According to Pompeo de Mattos, the project covers three levels. Casino, bingo and electronic games, and local popular jogo do bicho. He agrees that because the casino is more complex, the release should be only two or three per state.

Bingo and electronic games would be allowed in several cities. And jogo do bicho, wich is very popular, would be regulated in all cities in the country.

The goal in the approval of the project is to legalize, regulate and release gaming activities, aiming to collect taxes that will be invested in health and education, said Pompeo de Mattos.
