DataSenado asks Brazilian population about gaming legalization

The polling portal web of the Brazilian Federal Senate is currentrly conducting an online survey to find out whether or not the population supports gaming exploration across the country, with three questions about Bill No. 186/2014. Interested parties should only register with their email and give their opinion. It is important and necessary that all the people who support the legalization of the activity in Brazil participate.

Created in 2005, DataSenado is a research institute linked to the Transparency Secretariat of the Federal Senate. DataSenado follows, through surveys, polls and analyzes, the public opinion on the Federal Senate, on the parliamentary performance and on topics under discussion in the National Congress. In 11 years, DataSenado heard 4.12 million Brazilians on diverse topics and has already conducted 73 opinion surveys made through representative samples; 74 internal investigations to assist the administration of the Senate; and 130 surveys and surveys online.

The research began on December 1 and ends on January 1, 2018. The questions and possible answers are as follows:

1. Do you think the exploitation of gambling in Brazil:

A. It only brings advantages to the country
B. It brings advantages and disadvantages to the country

3. Do you think that, with the regulation of gambling, the country's budgetary situation will:
A. Improve
B. Stay the same
C. To worsen
D. I do not know
E. I'd rather not answer

The data collected by DataSenado have helped parliamentarians in their decisions and contributed to a better understanding of how the Brazilian population thinks.

By the end of the stipulated time to participate, the Senate will leave the results of the research publicly available in its official site.
