In the document, signed by President Olavo Sales da Silveira, the Brazilian Association of Bingos, Casinos and Similares declares its support for the approval of the project, with a report by Senator Benedito Lira: 'This legislative house, after many years and many initiatives, is convinced about the opportunity to deal with a gaming regulation in our country.'

ABRABINCS - Brazilian Association of Bingos, Casinos and Similares, a class entity created in June 1997 with the aim of working for the regulation of the gaming activity in Brazil, is to express Your Excellency its support for the Report submitted to PLS 186/2014 which deals with a Regulatory Framework for entertainment games in Brazil, namely:

1- This legislative house, after many years and many legislative initiatives, was convinced of the opportunity to deal with a regulation of entertainment games in our country, economic activity present in the great majority of the countries of the world, with economic and social dividends to all of them.

2 - ABRABINCS, representing a group of entrepreneurs who exercised the activity of exploration of bingos, under the time of Laws Zico and Pele (Law 9615), has the experience of this operation, and can contribute subsidies based on a reality experienced in the Brazilian market.

3- Understanding that the Brazilian public power, in its legislative and executive spheres, is at least 30 years behind the main international markets in the treatment of gaming as an economic activity of entertainment and leisure, we express our support for this report, which contemplates the basic premises of a regulation for this activity, the benefits of which are listed in your report, knowing that the operational details will be subject to regulation by the Federal Executive Branch.

4. We commend the efforts of this legislative house that for many years has opened space for discussion of entertainment games, providing that the energy mobilized in recent times is not wasted and there is a signaling for the country, the markets and the world of the Brazilian position in relation to this topic.

Best regards:

Olavo Sales da Silveira
