“Legalized Gambling in Brazil will put us on top in the country”

(GMB Exclusive) - Innovative Technology is celebrating 25 years and will take advantage of ICE 2017 to introduce the NV200 Spectral, 'the most advanced note validator in its class'. The group's sales director, Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, says it is able to accept notes in all markets, including Brazil.

Founded in Oldham, England, in 1992, in a short time the company gained a prominent place in the area of validation of notes and coins. "With every launch it had, Innovative Technology demonstrated its vocation to be up-to-date with the needs of the global marketplace, so much so that in just five years of existence we have won our first Queen's Award, a government recognition for our export capability" , Says Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, the group's sales director.

According to him, the second important step of the company was the launch of a validator in the 90s to accept the Euro, shortly after the European Union was established. "That earned us the second Queen's Award," says Mustapha.

Over the years the company consolidated its operations throughout Europe and in the 2000s conquered the world market, "with innovative and very safe products in all the countries where our products were used." So much so that the company set up factories in the China and Brazil to meet global demand, winning several other awards for technological innovation.

To celebrate all of these achievements, Innovative Technology will present at ICE the NV200 Spectral, a top-of-the-line validator with a scanning capability of more than 4.8 million points at the time of note authentication, plus more than 99% accuracy in the acceptance of the note and high speed of processing.

Other features of the Spectral NV200 include note centering mechanism as well as four-way bar code acceptance, which provides excellent note handling. The modularity of the new NV200 Spectral validator allows for a number of other features, such as ticket printing, tamper-proof case and ticket in / ticket out.

Group's sales director says the new instrument is able to accept notes in all markets, including Brazil. "Certainly the opening of bingos and casinos in Brazil will put us at the forefront also in the country, where we believe is an excellent market to be resumed, considering that in past years we have been very successful," he told GMB.
