Copag, which has been part of the multinational Cartamundi since 2005, is
recognized worldwide for quality in its plastic decks. The company's
partnership with the WSOP returned when Copag went on to provide the decks for
the tournament last year. "Placing quality cards at the WSOP gaming tables
is one of the most important elements of the entire event," said WSOP
Executive Director,Ty Stewart.
The sale of the new line is scheduled for April. Copag will market throughout
Brazil and Latin America. In other regions, such as Europe, Asia, Australia and
New Zealand, Cartamundi will be responsible for the sale of the decks.
"Having this deck with such a recognized brand in our portfolio is very important for poker players," says Mariana Dall'Acqua, Copag's director of marketing.
