Zynga has completed the acquisition of Solitaire mobile game applications from Harpan LLC in an all-cash deal worth approximately US$ 42.5 million.
The deal comes after Zynga last month also revealed mixed financial results for 2016, as GAAP revenue fell 3% year-on-year to €741.4 million, but GAAP net loss improved by 11% to US$ 108.2 million and bookings increased by 8% to US$ 754.5 million.
"On February 14, 2017, we purchased Solitaire mobile game
applications from Harpan LLC for approximately $42.5 million in cash,” Zynga
said in a statement. "As the initial accounting for the business combination is
incomplete as of the date of this filing, we will record the preliminary
purchase price allocation in the first quarter of 2017.”
