The firm was the only bidder that submitted an offer last February 22 for
this venture, although other two companies had purchased the bidding rules and
conditions.
Cerro Corá S.A. will invest close to US$ 7 million in the improvement and
expansion of the Hotel Casino Amambay, which brings with it an increase in the
construction sector and in the direct and indirect labor.
In addition, the company will have to pay a monthly fee of 20% of the income
and prizes, which according to the projections made supposes an average of US$
35.000 per month, during the first 5 years of contract.
According to the Treasury report, the basic specifications
and conditions establish a series of controls and audits to the company to
certify the collection and the expenses of the enterprise.
This concession also includes that the company Cerro Corá S.A. can operate
online gambling options.
Conajzar also established the obligation to certify the quality of electronic gaming machines and the systems used for online control.
