EGT celebrates 15 years of slot production

In March 2017, Bulgarian slot manufacturer Euro Games Technology celebrated its 15th anniversary. The company has 1,300 employees, offices in 20 cities around the globe and machines operated in over 80 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North, Central and South America.

In 2016 EGT confidently continued its ascending line of sustainable development and reported a significant leap in its sales by 30 %. Along with several new jurisdictions in Spain and USA the company entered also the markets of Netherlands, Belgium, Russia and Morocco, where its products were well accepted by the domestic audience.

The manufacturing capacity of EGT has also grown with 30% totaling 16,000 gaming stations for the year. The sales and distribution network has been expanded with three new offices in Peru, Colombia and Mexico, strengthening the company’s positions in the highly potential Latin America. In addition the Bulgarian manufacturer has also secured a contract for the distribution of its VLT gaming equipment in Italy with the local key player in the industry GlobalStarnet.

The accelerated development of EGT is accompanied by many new developments of the R&D teams of the company. In 2016 Euro Games Technology introduced its first curved slot cabinets – Super Premier, P-42V St and P-42V Up, as well as the jackpot systems Fu Gui Rong Hua, 4 Happy Hits, 3 Happy Hits and many new multigame mixes. The Luxury touch table series welcomed another new member in its family: the Lucky Circle Cash.

EGT Interactive entered the sport betting niche with its online casino platform and the Spider CMS added several new modules on its path to further deployment.

2017 is also shaping to be ambitious as expectations for EGT. The company plans on further increase in its manufacturing capacity to 20,000 gaming stations per year and on another 30 % sales growth. It also intends to solidify its positions in Central and South America, penetrating the markets of Costa Rica and Chile, and to gain ground in several more USA jurisdictions.

In Europe the company will work towards establishing its AWP portfolio in Spain and VLT products in Italy, adding also UK as a targeted region.
