JUE 25 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2025 - 15:40hs.
On June 26 in Sao Paulo

BgC 2017 confirmed the participation of Deputy Magda Mofatto

The organization of the Brazilian Gaming Congress (BgC) reported that MP Magda Mofatto (PR-GO) will be part of the discussion panel 'Pros and Cons of gaming legalization in Brazil', on June 26 in Sao Paulo. She will share the table with Deputy Herculano Passos, and the moderator will be the journalist Ana Maria Tahan, editor in chief of Jornal do Brasil.

Magada Mofatto is one of the voices favorable to the gaming activity in Brazil. Earlier this year, he said in an interview that project 442/91 of the Regulatory Framework of Gaming will be approved in 2017.

At that moment, the Deputy hoped that political times would be more relaxed and that the parliamentarians could carefully assess the proposals themselves. For now, the bill is still awaiting a vote on an urgent request to be referred back to plenary.

The MP is also a strong name in the politics of her state. She is one of the names quoted to be candidate to the Senate by the state of Goiás in the general elections of 2018.

The Brazilian Gaming Congress (BgC) 2017 will take place on June 26-27 at Tivoli Mofarrej in Sao Paulo, with the agenda and registrations for the event already available. The previous editions in May and November 2016, in Brasilia and Sao Paulo, which brought together more than 250 and 400 people, respectively, shared the best practices of regulation and policies with the legislators that decide the form of the legislation.

BgC is the ideal place to create partnerships crucial to the success of entry and operation in the future gambling market in Brazil.
