The highlight of the festival is the five-day US$ 1,650 PokerStars Festival Main Event, which features a huge US$ 500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The tournament kicks off with two opening days on May 23-24. Players begin with 25,000 opening chips with blinds increasing every 60 minutes. Both the opening days allow for unlimited reentries up until the start of Level 9.
Players bagging chips will resume play from May 25-27 until the first PokerStars Festival Main Event winner in Chile is crowned.
Another big tournament during the festival is the US$ 3,300 High Roller. The tournament begins on May 21 and features a deep structure with players beginning with 50,000 chips and blinds increasing every 60 minutes.
Unlimited reentries are permitted up until the start of Level 9 which is also the start of Day 2 on May 22. Players surviving the first two days will compete for one final day on May 23.
