ICE shortlisted in prestigious awards

ICE 2017, which attracted a record attendance of 30,213, with visitors travelling to London from 151 countries, will be judged alongside other major B2B events at Friday’s awards evening, which is being held at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane and hosted by actor James Nesbitt OBE. 

Kate Chambers, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming, believes the status enjoyed by ICE within the events industry reflects positively on the support it receives from the 500+ exhibitors and the international community of gaming professionals, which has grown in number in each of the last six years.

"Whilst gaming is not on everybody’s radar as an industry, ICE is one of the best known B2B exhibitions within the UK events business. I believe this to be a result not just of the numbers attending ICE, but also the imagination, energy and creativity which gaming organisations bring to their presence. I am delighted that ICE has been selected as a finalist in what is widely regarded as being the ‘Oscars’ for the events industry," Chambers explained.

The Meetings Incentives Conferences & Events (MICE) sector is worth £42.3 billion to the UK economy, of which £11 billion is generated by exhibitions and trade fairs, such as ICE.
