MGA online games arrive to Colombia

Since Colombia regulated online gaming, international operators have worked to adapt to the regulations and comply with the procedures required by local regulatory body Coljuegos. The Spanish company MGA is one of those companies that looks to become protagonist in the new Colombian online gaming sector.

Pursuing that goal, MGA launches its wide catalog of games with more than 40 titles of videobingo and online slots of three rollers through the platform QuickFire of Microgaming. MGA games will be available to the Colombian public at the main online casino portals.

José A. Giacomelli, director of the New Technologies Division of MGA, explained: "We have localized products. We know the demands and preferences of the Latin American players and, thanks to the agreements established with partners like Microgaming, we are prepared to bring to Colombia our most successful online games."

On the regulation of online gambling in Colombia and Latin America, Giacomelli commented: "The convergence between both worlds, online and face-to-face, could not take so long to arrive to the Ibero-American market, which has always shown great fascination for online gambling and betting . The desire of a country to regulate the new modalities of play, as Spain also did, is always cause for satisfaction.”

"It's the first step in transforming the gaming industry based on innovation and entertainment. The lack of regulation of the sector in the different countries ends up having negative repercussions for both governments and users because the latter lack the guarantees of a safe gaming experience, "Giacomelli added.
