Gama was accompanied by an international delegation composed of the directors Silvio Orestes (Argentina), Javier Balbuena (Paraguay), Gilson Pereira Braga (Brazil), Efraín Medina (Panama), Luis Alfonso Martínez Atienza (Spain) and Carlos Pereira, according to information from the Government of El Salvador.

The representatives of CIBELAE are in the country within the framework of the meeting of the board of directors of the Corporation, from which El Salvador was designated venue and where various activities will be carried out.

One such event is the seminar "The Great Bet for Social Development", which includes the application of gambling in favor of social assistance. This seminar, which takes place today and tomorrow (22-23, June), will address relevant issues such as the impact of gambling on social development under the experience of the National Organization of the Blind in Spain.

According to the president of the Salvadoran National Lottery of Charity, Rogelio Fonseca, "this activity reflects the international support that El Salvador has for the bill that is currently being worked by the Executive."

He added that the purpose of having a law is "to focus all the resources that occur in different games of chance according to social development programs that directly benefit the most needy population in the country."

CIBELAE is an adviser and training institution for Latin American lotteries in the area of modernization and optimization of resources, and its purpose is to be the political body to achieve collaboration and exchange of information among its member countries, the Presidency said in a statement.
