Cirsa buys Novomatic’s firms in Peru

Spanish manufacturer-operator Cirsa Group has bought two Novomatic companies in Peru. The deal was concluded on July 1 using the Cirsa subsidiary Gaming and Services SAC to buy all of the shares in Inmobiliaria Rapid and Sierra Machines. Both Inmobiliaria Rapid and Sierra Machines are Novomatic’ subsidiaries operating 17 slots locations in Peru under the Admiral brand.

In this transaction, Cirsa was assisted by Torres and Torres Lara Abogados. Admiral was represented by Estudio Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taiman & Olaya Abogados and a team of advisors of the company.

Muñiz said that the sale decision is part of Novomatic Group's strategy of concentrating its activities on the marketing of gaming machines and terminals within the Peruvian market, which will enable it to significantly expand its participation in the national entertainment market.

Admiral, also of European origin, has more than two decades of experience and 1,500 gambling halls, 17 of them in Peru, where - in addition - it manages 2,000 slot machines. In that market, it enjoys leadership as an operator of slot machines and casinos. It is part of the Novomatic Group, recognized as one of the largest gaming technology companies in the world.
