The decision to go live a full five months
ahead of ICE, hosting the biggest and most cosmopolitan gathering of gaming
professionals in the world, was taken following feedback from ICE exhibitors
who requested a bigger window to showcase their brands more effectively and
develop a dialogue with gaming professionals ahead of the event opening at
ExCeL London.
Dan Stone, Senior Marketing Manager at Clarion Gaming, said: "ICE has become
such an important business event for the entire gaming industry that our
exhibitors requested a longer lead time between registration going live and ICE
going live.”
"As well as bringing registration forward, we have also invested in the
segmentation of news and content by sector and the creation of a zone for
visitors to favourite products and content. The Meeting Planner tool, which was
requested by visitors and exhibitors alike, will go live during Q4 2017,” Stone
added.
The 2017 edition of ICE was officially the best on record, with an independently audited attendance of 30,213 making the journey to ExCeL from 151 jurisdictions. The attendance represented a 6% year-on-year increase and the sixth consecutive year of growth.
