Regarding the consequences of regularization of gambling activity in the country, 64% of the respondents believe that it only has advantages, another 23% answered that it has advantages and disadvantages, while 12% think that it only brings negative things to the country.
The project deals, in its justification, on the possibility of tax collection coming from regularization of gambling in the country. For most respondents (81%), the country's budget situation will improve with gaming regulation. Another 10% believe that this regulation will bring no impact, while 7% believe that the impacts will be negative and the situation will worsen.
The poll, conducted in partnership with the Senate Agency, was available on the Senate web portal between December 1, 2017 and January 2, 2018. During this period, 2,672 responses were received.
