From now on Tipico receives the official partner status and is allowed to advertise among others the competition logos of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga.
At the same time, Tipico will acquire from the 2018/19 season onwards a first negotiation right enshrined in the media contracts of the DFL and the so-called “Matching Offer Right” with regard to certain special forms of advertising with national licensees as well as industry exclusivity for corresponding bookings.
Finally, the new partner will be integrated into the DFL media platforms as part of a “digital package”.
The commercial use of club rights, however, is not part of the contract.
