The Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) has published the Decree 9.266 / 2018, which changes the regimental structure and the chart of positions of the Ministry of Finance.
Among the changes, the act extinguishes the Ministry of Economic Monitoring (Seae), which will now be broken up into two new secretariats, the Promotion of Productivity and Law of Competition and the Fiscal, Energy and Lottery.
The decree also extinguishes 55 positions of trust of the Ministry of Finance, in view of the determination of Law 13.346, dated October 2016, which formalized the elimination of approximately 10 thousand positions of direction, leadership and advising in the Federal Executive Branch.
The occupants of the positions extinguished in Finance, cites the text, are automatically exonerated or exempted.
