The group is committed to creating all-in-one entertainment destinations in previously underserved locations in South Africa, focusing on its pre existing Forest Hill location south of Pretoria and expanding into the eastern Cape and north west of the country.
The $8m (R100m) Mthatha Casino and entertainment complex broke ground late in 2017 and is slated for completion later this year. The 2,600-m sq development will feature a full spate of amenities and conference facilities to boost non gaming spend.
“This year the business has refocused on property development, following the R5bn sale of assets and two service companies to Rebosis Property Fund. We expect 2017 to be a very busy year for us,” said commercial director, Vuyokazi Njongwe.
