After its president resignation

“Business as usual” at Ainsworth US

Ainsworth Game Technology was this week keen to emphasise that it is 'business as usual' at the company’s North American division, despite the resignation of its president there, Mike Dreitzer, earlier this month. The company, said CEO Danny Gladstone, has begun its search for Dreitzer’s successor.

“We look forward to naming a new president to continue to grow our North American operations,” Gladstone said. “Under Mike’s leadership our North American operations grew to US$80 million in revenue. He was instrumental in entering the Class II market following the successful acquisition of Nova Technologies and opening a state-of-the-art North American headquarters in Las Vegas,” Gladstone continued.

Meanwhile, it will remain "business as usual" at the Las Vegas office. “We have a highly capable North American team that includes several executive leaders who have been integral to our recent successes.”

Dreitzer, who joined the company five years ago, leaves on February 16. Under his watch the company has seen several important milestones, including the recent largest single North American game installation in the company’s history, 270 games at the Four Winds Casino Resort in South Bend, Indiana. Also towards the end of 2017 it completed the installation of its first custom wide-area progressive jackpot at Seminole Gaming casinos in South Florida.
