Panel to discuss on future casino model for Brazil at ICE 2018

The International Casino Conveyor Belt panel, within the ICE VOX International Casino Conference (ICC), will discuss, on Monday 5th, the development of casinos around the world from countries that are still working to regulate the sector, such as Brazil, to others already regulated that now seek expansion. From Brazil, attorney Luiz Felipe Maya, a partner at FYMSA Advogados, will report how the country is debating to regulate casinos in order to boost tourism.

The "International Casino Conveyor Belt" panel will take place on Monday 5th, during the International Casino Conference (ICC), How Casino Leaders are Changing Land-Based Entertainment at ICE, and will discuss the moment of the casinos that are returning to the center of the international gaming scene.

Who will explain on the issues of Brazilian casinos is Luiz Felipe Maia, who is founding partner of the law firm Franco, Yoshiyasu, Maia, Simões and D'Alessio Advogados and head of the team of games, internet and technology. In particular, he advises clients on corporate matters, contracts and regulatory issues, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, internet law, gambling laws and strategic negotiations in related areas.

Recently, Lawyer Monthly, a prestigious publication specialized in global legal issues, conducted a survey of clients from different parts of the world and Dr. Luiz Felipe Maia was selected as one of the 100 best lawyers in Brazil for his work in the Gaming sector and technology.

Along with Felipe Maia, the panel will be integrated by Francisco Vidal, COO, Sortis and Golden Lion Casinos; Per Jaldung, CEO, Casino Cosmopol; Janny Wierda, Vice President – Security and Responsible Gambling, Holland Casino; and Nick Tofiluk, CEO, Cyprus Casino Supervision Commission.
