PokerStars promotes the return of the EPT, LAPT and APPT in 2018

The new year will mark the return of series such as the EPT (European Poker Tour), LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour) and APPT (Asian Pacific Poker Tour). Replaced last year by the PokerStars Championship and PokerStars Festival brands, the circuits are back in 2018 and the calendars for each tour will be annually.

In addition to the No Limit Hold'em Championship player, which will be played in January 2019 in the Bahamas and which will have a prize pool of US$ 9 million, PokerStars has other news for next year's season.

As well as the return of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) now in January, some other well-known poker brands will come back in 2018.

The new year will mark the return of series such as the EPT (European Poker Tour), LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour) and APPT (Asian Pacific Poker Tour). Replaced last year by the PokerStars Championship and PokerStars Festival, circuits are back in 2018 and the calendars for each tour will be announced shortly.

In addition, the coveted Platinum Passes (complete packages for the No Limit Hold'em Championship Player in 2019) will be distributed at all of these events. That is, several locations around the world will have tournaments in which players will have a chance to win their place in the biggest event of all.

"It's a new era," said Team PokerStars Pro André Akkari. "It's a crazy experience, which I think will make history as the PCA did, as the WSOP Main Event did, as the Moneymaker Effect did, something that has never happened before in poker history, a historic event. I'm very happy, and it's going to be a year where everyone will try to ensure participation in this historic event."
