GameCon: Brasilia gets ready to become eSports capital

Next November 7-11, the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center hosts GameCon, an international gaming convention that will bring together eSports, gamer culture and entrepreneurship in a single event. The panel 'The future of eSport in Brazil' is highlighted with the presence of specialists such as Leo de Biase (ESL), Carlos Fonseca (CNB), Roberto Lervolino (RIOT - LOL) and Cleber Fonseca (CNB). Brazil has the third largest mass of segment enthusiasts in the world.

From November 7 to 11, Brasilia hosts GameCon, an international electronic games convention focused on eSports, gamer culture and entrepreneurship. Throughout the five-day event, the schedule will feature two distinct moments: GameTalks and GameCup. The first will include panels, workshops and lectures aimed at generating and sharing knowledge about games.

Among the invited are influential names of the market, such as: Leo De Biase, CEO of ESL Brasil; Beto Vides, founder of eBrainz; Alessandra Dutra, a psychologist from the Red Canids and mental trainer of the Brazilian Olympic Committee; and Roberto Iervolino, CEO of Riot Games in Brazil. The proposal is to bring together companies, agencies, journalists, opinion leaders and enthusiasts with the aim of fostering the national market.

"eSport is a global phenomenon, and Brazil, which has the third largest mass of enthusiasts in the segment, is a protagonist in this scenario. GameTalks offers the public of Brasilia an unprecedented and unique opportunity to follow debates and discussions among the biggest names in the market, either to know or to deepen knowledge about electronic sports," summarizes Théo Azevedo, curator of GameCon.
