According to information from Ara Andorra and Europa Press, the precautionary suspension is requested until the final resolution of the appeals presented (specifically, those of these four candidates, plus a fifth resource of Barriere Group). Given that next October 29 the deadline for investigating the case ends and the Government must announce the resolution.
Similarly, according to the statement issued by the four appellants echoed by Ara Andorra, it is requested to suspend the concession, among other reasons, because in case it moves forward, with resources still pending resolution, -in which "serious irregularities" are reported that base "the demand of immediate paralysis" -, "would have consequences of difficult or impossible repair."
Reportedly, it is a suspension requested "in defense of the general interest". Both "by the legal consequences of the lack of suspension" that could end in "millionaire compensation", as well as being able to "undermine the international image of the country", alluding to the current process of economic opening.
