Following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that deemed the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) unconstitutional, G2E’s Sports Betting Symposium will gather experts from around the world to prepare gaming professionals at all levels for unprecedented growth opportunities in the sports betting sector across the U.S. Symposium participants will also receive an expert-led tour of sports betting solutions providers in the comprehensive expo hall.
“In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision, there is no better place than G2E to launch this Sports Betting Symposium,” said Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association.
The conversation around sports betting will continue to evolve in the coming months, and “the symposium will allow G2E attendees to engage in interactive sessions on this unprecedented growth opportunity for the U.S. gaming industry,” Freeman added.

Brazilian Presence
Always a must-attend event in the international calendar of the sector, it is estimated that dozens of Brazilians will walk through the halls of the Sands Expo and Convention Center, including government officials.
Two representatives of the federal government will visit the show. The general coordinator of Prizes and Drawings Governance of the Secretariat of Fiscal, Energy and Lottery Monitoring (SEFEL-MF), Waldir Eustáquio Marques Jr. and the technician of entity, Itamar de Carvalho Pereira, will be representing the Ministry of Finance.
On the other hand, it is also confirmed the presence of the president of the State Lottery of Rio de Janeiro (LOTERJ), Sérgio Ricardo de Almeida.
