The auction for Lotex's exploration is scheduled for next Thursday. In a note, Finance said that, in addition to passing on public safety, the PM approved last week (Tuesday 20) by the Chamber of Deputies and on 21st by the Senate, will yield US$ 165 million for Sport and US$ 115 for Culture per year.
In the statement, Deputy Secretary for Fiscal, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Finance, Alexandre Manoel, pointed out that PM approval will bring gains to the Ministry of Finance and to the prize and draw market in Brazil. According to him, the main advantage was the unification of the legislation that distributes the collection of lotteries. So far, the subject was regulated by 15 scattered standards, without a single calculation basis.
Distribution
According to MP, of the total funds raised with sports lotteries this year, 11.49% will be transferred to the FNSP this year and 2% from 2019. The fund will also receive 5% of the funds from the federal lotteries in 2018 and 2,22% from next year. The National Culture Fund will receive 1% of the resources of the sports lotteries, 0.5% of the federal lotteries and 0.4% of Lotex.
