OGS Brazil kicks-off on Monday with sold out tickets and attractive agenda

Clarion announced the final agenda confirmed with panels and speakers for the Online Gaming Summit Brazil 2018 that will take place on Monday and Tuesday at the legendary Pacaembú stadium in Sao Paulo, with tickets already sold out. Federal deputy Evandro Roman (President of the mixed commission that legalized sports betting), Gilson Braga (National Superintendent of Caixa’x Lotteries) and Alexandre Manoel (Secretary of SEFEL / MF), among others, will speak at the event.

The importance of this meeting for Brazil is also marked by the quality of the companies that sponsor it: 1xBet, Betconstruct, Betgenius, GLI, Intralot, Online IPS, Pay4Fun, Patagonia Entertainment, Playbrands, Spieldev, Leander Games, JDS, End2End and Meridianbet. In addition, the OGS has the institutional support of ABLE (Brazilian Association of State Lotteries), Abrabincs (Brazilian Association of Bingo, Casinos and Similares) and Abragaming, together with Games Magazine Brazil as official media.

The OGS Brazil brings together industry providers, operators, regulators, key politicians and authorities to discuss current and future developments in the regulation of Online Gambling and Sports Betting in Brazil. Latin America is one of the fastest growing markets in the gambling industry and predictions suggest as much as US$4.9 billion in revenue in 2017.

In recent years Brazil has been discussing ways to regulate gambling. Betting on horse racing is currently the only legal form of gaming in Brazil and the illegal gambling sector has continued to grow across the country.

The expectation is that once the Brazilian gaming sector become regulated, the land based gambling and casino sector may still take considerable time to develop due to the significant infrastructure and other investments, what may in turn mean that the Online Gaming and Betting markets may represent the most attractive opportunity for operators looking to quickly scale up legal operations in Brazil.

The OGS Brazil will take place in one of the oldest football stadiums in Brazil, the Paulo Machado de Carvalho - Pacaembu Municipal Stadium in São Paulo. Built in 1930 and topped by the city of São Paulo in 1991, the stadium houses a museum dedicated to the history of football. During the event there will be a guided tour of the Football Museum, going through the history of football through 15 thematic rooms.

This is the definitive agenda of the OGS Brazil 2018:
