Codere renews its gambling licenses in Mexico

Codere continues to consolidate its position in Mexico, obtaining the renewal of permits for the operation of 90 gaming halls owned by its subsidiary Administradora Mexicana de Hipódromo (AMH) and Operadora Cantabria for 15 years, until 2033, as well as the concession of the land that occupies the Hipódromo de las Américas for 25 years, until the year 2048.

These milestones represent a new boost to the company's business in Mexico, the market for the Group's main operation, which represented 35% of its EBITDA in the third quarter of the year, demonstrating the strength of the legal security of its operation in the country and the institutional olidity of its presence in this market at a time of change of government.

The company has renewed the permits and the horse racing concession of the Hipódromo de las Américas for 15 and 25 years respectively, as well as the Operadora Cantabria license for 15 years, until 2033.

Codere Mexico has recently opened 2 new gaming rooms, adding a total of 19,607 gaming terminals, 95 establishments and 89 betting points in the country.

With this renovation, Codere will continue operating the Hipódromo de las Américas, which has a capacity for 8,000 people and hosts around 1,400 competitions per year. This news is a positive boost to the Group's business in a year that celebrates the 75th Anniversary of its activity.

"We are the leading company in the private gaming industry in Mexico and these achievements allow us to continue consolidating this leadership position,” commented Vicente Di Loreto, General Director of Codere.

“We will continue investing in this country, our most relevant market, to continue expanding and improving our entertainment offer," Di Loreto concluded.
