Tiago Almeida, eGamingServices’ CEO

“We believe in Latin America and its potential for the industry”

Tiago Almeida of eGamingServices described Latin America as “the ultimate gaming marketplace” in a keynote speech at the London Affiliate Conference (LAC). Present at ICE Totally Gaming, the Lisbon-based firm demonstrated a strong commitment to investing in the region and specifically in Brazil, where sales represent 42% of that region’s online revenue.

During the standout show in the igaming affiliate space, which hosted 5,000 delegates including 3,500 affiliates from all over the world at London ExCel, the Portuguese gaming consultancy’s CEO provided an explanation of the Latin America market’s characteristics, payment methods, popular products and leading operators.

According to Almedia, opportunities and profitability can be found and achieved in this region. “We have big chances in LATAM,” he said. “These territories should be absolutely essential for affiliates and operators. We have to create a bridge between leading brands in LATAM and affiliates willing to monetise their traffic.”

Almeida, who started his career in the online gaming industry in 2006 and who has led companies like Bwin and Dragonfish, founded eGamingServices in 2016. The company has offices in Brazil, Uruguay, Malta and Portugal.

After a second consecutive presence at ICE Totally Gaming, the Lisbon-based company demonstrated a strong commitment to investing in Latin America and specifically in Brazil, where sales represent 42% of that region’s online revenue.

Creating projects to help operators to find more customers, eGamingServices mitigates the risk in existing markets and helping generate more income.

“These kind of events give us always great opportunities of networking and talked about what we do in eGamingServices,” added Almeida, reflecting on ICE and LAC. “We are very proud and motivated with the results of these days of work. Also, we took the chance to explain why Latin America is so interesting for us. We believe in this region and its potential for the industry.”
