The meeting will discuss the best practices in the area of lotteries and the news of this sector, which has aroused the attention of the whole world. The event takes place at the Conrad Hilton Boutique Hotel Miami, with the opening reception at 5 pm in the pool area, located on the 25th floor of the Conrad.
Among the topics are presentations that will discuss real-time audience measurement in retail, the keno revolution in the New Hampshire market (to be presented by Fivi Rondiri, Intralot's Corporate Marketing Manager), lottery product innovation and the role of content for the success of long-term lotteries, as well as successful experiences of some lotteries operated by American states. Some panels will also be well-attended, such as the one that will discuss retail marketing and merchandising and one that will address the possible suspension of the US federal law prohibiting sports betting (except in the state of Nevada).
One of the central topics -supported as Platinum Double sponsor by IGT and Platinum sponsor, among others, by Intralot and Scientific Games-, proposes a debate between breakthrough and stability, which will provoke in the participants a deep reflection on innovation with paradigm breaks or stability in the business, inquiring on "how can a positive and intentional innovation course be traced while preserving stability and maximizing the value of the life cycle of current products and current operational and distribution infrastructures?"
Another session will discuss the next generation of "instant products" and wants to debate about "how lotteries are integrating modern consumer gaming styles into traditional lottery games?"
The presence of Brazilian authorities in this type of event is very common, but since two issues making Brazil one of the main worldwide spotlights: the regulation of gaming and the privatization of LOTEX, which are likely to be part of some of the debates that will take place during the presentations and panels, especially the last mentioned, since the instant lottery will be one of the focuses. Although undersecretary Alexandre Manoel Ângelo da Silva did not divulge an agenda on the topics that interest him most, it is presumed that the two panels mentioned should be in the sights of the representative of Brazil at the meeting.
