Bethard operates out of Malta and is currently licensed in Malta and in the U.K. As part of an aggressive growth plan, the company is actively seeking licenses in a number of European markets and expects to be present through own licenses in most key European markets already by 2020. The partnership with Zlatan starts as of now and will evolve over the coming years.
"I have obviously been intensively courted by betting companies throughout my career, but up until now I have not been presented to anything that has triggered me," said Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"With Bethard, there was something different. It's a company with Swedish roots, the founders are from my home town, and they are true challengers who really want to do things differently," Zlatan concluded.
