Vivant is the result of a two-year investment by Brazilian entrepreneurs, who saw the business opportunity in casino games, banned in Brazil since the 1940s, in order to attract players from neighboring countries. Responsible for the project, Brazilian entrepreneurs Nelson Belotti and Danilo Gamba promise a space for gaming as good as those in Las Vegas.
The Gamba family of Rio de Janeiro, headed by Danilo and his wife Rosana Guitti (heiress of refrigerants company Convenção), decided to travel to Paraguay with their two children (Lucas and Matheus) two years ago and invest in this project, very different from the previous ones they had. They were the owners of Fazenda Farofa, one of the great names in genetic development of the Nelore, with 600 hectares of fertile land and 300 animals, 50 of whom were the highest-ranking donors. Later Danilo became one of the most respected names in the beer distribution business in the States of Rio, São Paulo and Goiás. Brazilian businessman Nelson Belotti and his wife Paula Loureiro are also partners of Gamba in the adventure of the strong investment they made to open the Casino Vivant de Asunción.
The structure of the Vivant has 170 slot machines, single and multiplay roulettes, black jack and poker, but the goal is to reach 240 units. To use them, it is necessary to buy chips in a casino cashier, which accepts as minimum value ten thousand Guarani (Paraguayan pesos).
The concept of the new venue is to have fully digital machines with LED displays and touchscreen that replace chips, making Vivant one of the most modern casinos in Latin America. Visitors have free machines of water, coffee and tea, while smoking is allowed inside the casino. The highest award is an SUV vehicle, which is displayed at the entrance, and bets can also be placed on local computers and mobile devices.
According to what the new facility managers have reported, all equipment offers Premium features and have first-class machines such as IGT, Scientific Games (with their Bally and WMS brands), Konami, Novomatic, Aristocrat, Ainsworth, Zitro , EGT, ZUUM, Merkur, Otium, GoldenRace, Tangiamo and DigiDeal.
"In two weeks we will open the restaurant La Musique, designed by the Spaniard Oscar Rodal. The decoration was bought in well-known stores of São Paulo and Asunción, and the Paraguayan and Japanese food menu will be signed by the chef Mariana Mersan Meza, of restaurants like Cosí and La Mar," says Vivant's Communication Director and La Musique Restaurant, Maria Tania Piñeiro.
The opening event was inspired by the theme The Great Gatsby, featuring Purahei Soul, Mothership, George Israel's saxophone show and DJ Dukka Calliery closing the night. The Paraguayan destination will be one of the outbreaks of Orinter and the airline Amaszonas, who are developing packages together and will train with travel agents throughout 2018.
