SÁB 20 DE ABRIL DE 2024 - 01:00hs.
Today, at 5pm in Brasilia

Caesars also meets with Mansueto de Almeida at the Fazenda Ministry

As last week Las Vegas Sands did, this time it is the Caesars Entetainment group that will meet with the Brazilian Secretary of Fiscal, Energy and Lottery Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance, Mansueto de Almeida. The american firm will present a project of strong investment with generation of jobs and will request the support of the Ministry for the approval of a gaming law in general and not only for casinos.

Mansueto de Almeida will receive this afternoon, at 5pm in Brasilia, representatives of the Caesars Entertainment group to discuss the state of the tourism industry and economic reforms in Brazil, while soliciting the support of the Ministry so that the country has a law that approves various forms of gambling and not only exclusive for casinos.

On behalf of the Fazenda Ministry, in addition to Mansueto de Almedia, will attend the subsecretariat of Assistência Fiscal, Energia e Loteria, Alexandre Manoel Angelo Da Silva. On the Caesars group, the ones that will participate in the meeting are Daniel Erikson, consultant of the company for clients related to Latin America; Mary Morrison, also consultant for the group’s affairs of Latin America and Brazil; and André Feldman, Caesars representative in the country.

"We will make a presentation on the market trends that can help in the closing of the national budget for the next year and generation of jobs," André Feldman told GMB exclusively.

"In case of legalization of the gaming market in Brazil, we will ask the Ministry's support for the bill. We believe that there must be legislation across the market. And without the joint support of the entire industry we will not succeed in legalization. We can not polarize. We have to be united, "added Feldman.

The meeting is held one day before the bill authorizing gambling is treated as item number 1 on the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ) agenda with good chances that it will be voted on.
