Sao Paulo will have direct flight to Las Vegas from June

The flights will be operated by Latam from June 2018, and will be the only link between South America and Las Vegas. The flight will last almost 13 hours and will be made in a Boeing 767, with a capacity of 221 passengers. The frequency will be three weekly flights in each direction during the high tourist seasons: the first from June 2 to September 30, and the second from December 15 to February 28, 2019.

Flights depart from Guarulhos airport in Sao Paulo, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:55 pm, with landing in Las Vegas at 6:35 am the following day (local time). The returns take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, boarding at 11am in Las Vegas and arriving to São Paulo at 5.25am the following day.

The one-way ticket costs from R$ 1,575 (USD 465), in consultation between June 2 and September 30. The tickets are already on sale on the Latam website.

NEW RELEASES

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the city's tourism promotion body, has announced new products for tourism in 2018 at the WTM Latin America fair in São Paulo.

The Monte Carlo resort and casino is undergoing renovation that will lead to a new entertainment complex, Park MGM, which will have a unit of New York hotel NoMad and the first Eataly of the city until the end of the year.

Further launches are planned for 2020: Wynn Paradise Park, Resorts World, Genting Group, and The Drew Resort, JW Marriott.
