Local and regional authorities support CGS 2018

Cancun gets ready for the 8th edition of the Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit, in this special edition for Mexico and the Caribbean. With the presence of important authorities of the Mexican market and other LatAm countries, as well as leading international companies, the event kicks-off on April 25.

SEGOB will be present in the Inaugural Act represented by Armando Ruiz Salazar, Deputy General Director of the General Directorate of Games and Draws of the Ministry of the Interior, and it is also announced the presence of Miguel Angel Ochoa, President of AIEJA (main Gaming Association in Mexico) and all his support team. Other international authoritythat will be part of the CGS 2018 is José Carlos Figueroa, Director of Games Inspection Division of Puerto Rico Tourism Company, who will be one of the main panelists.

The Conferences begin on April 26th at 9am, and are sponsored by MicroGaming and GLI, and the Panels will be covered by  Aristocrat Inc, AIEJA, iGaming Consultants, Sorteos Tec de Mexico, Tapcentive, Gaming Laboratories International, Gov Risk, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and American iGaming Solutions.

The April 27th Conferences are sponsored by Sporting Tech, BTO BET and BMM, and the Panels will be in charge of Patagonia Entertainment, Sporting Tech, eGaming Services, BTO BET, BMM, Bet Radar and once again we will close with American iGaming Solutions.

Elizabeth Leiva, owner of the Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit commented that Mexico, has approximately 110,000 gaming machines, 321 gaming venues with the possibility of growing up to 336. And the 33 current licenses allow a stable environment of growth and security, very beneficial for Operators and Manufacturers.

The structure of this Summit is configured in such a way that the activities are segmented according to interests and schedule flexibility. Conferences on the 26th and 27th will take place in the mornings, following by the exhibition of products in the evenings with 35 stands.

“At the moment we have more than 300 people registered and we have achieved the goal. CGS2018 is not a massive event, being inclusive but select with high level executives and decision makers only.
