"We are preparing new projects for once the Brazilian market opens"

(Exclusive GMB) - With 20 years of experience in the market of corporate furniture, especially tables and chairs, LJM expects the opening of the national gaming market to present new products mostly focused on bingo. At BGC, Giuliano Suzigan, administrative manager of the Brazilian company, spoke with GMB about the event, the legalization process of the activity and the plans for the future.

GMB - What led LJM to participate in BgC 2018?
Giuliano Suzigan - The BGC is a kind of gateway. Today, with the national market starting to warm up with the proximity of a future legalization, events like this are a gateway so we can showcase our work to foreign investors.

What is your assessment of the event and what was the feedback you received? Did you have the chance to make new partnerships?
It was really cool. People have asked about the history of the company. I think that what could be improved is the part of the exhibition, because we did not have how show anything of our products. In our business furniture market, people like to see the equipment, what we have to offer.

How have you been following the latest developments on the process of gaming legalization in the country? Do you think we'll have a law soon?
We are very optimistic, but waiting. This is an election year and so it's a bit more complicated. We'll have to wait a little longer, though, I think it is doing well.

What are the prospects of LJM for the Brazilian gaming market after the regulation?
We have been in the market for 20 years, specifically in the bingo market. So we have new projects that are being developed for once the market is open, and I believe it will be very important for us.

In addition to the projects for the gaming market, tell us a little about LJM's trajectory. What are your goals for short term?
LJM has been constantly working on the development of new products. We are launching a vitrified table to the market; where we can put any kind of photos and banners, even logos inside the table, which will be a differential here in Brazil. In addition, we are always working to improve our products.
