Blow to LOTEX: IGT, Scientific Games did not submit bids

Finally, two of the most important companies in the world, decided not to present proposals this morning to get the concession of the Brazilian Instant Lottery (LOTEX) for 15 years. The deadline to deliver bids in Sao Paulo expired at 1:00 p.m (Monday). The companies would have resolved this because of the uncertainty generated in recent days by the amendments to the MP 841 that could reduce the payout of LOTEX and the funds for costs and operation of the winning company.
