At the end of the first half of the year, as of June 30, 2018, Sun Dreams recorded profits of US$15.65 million, compared to the US$11.75 million recorded during the same period of 2017. This represents an increase of 33%, as a consequence of the best operating result as well as a better non-operating result benefited by the exchange differences.
EBITDA reached US$45.10 million, 9% higher than the US$41.54 million recorded during the same period of the previous year, achieving an EBITDA margin of 30.8% over revenues.
Sun Dreams is the largest casino group in Latin America, made up of a human team of more than 5 thousand workers in charge of the management of a total of 21 properties distributed in five countries.
With an offer of more than 8 thousand slot machines, more than 380 gaming tables, 720 rooms and a gastronomic and entertaining proposal of more than 60 restaurants and bars, its operation extends to Panama, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Chile, positioning the company as a benchmark in the industry.
