The tour visiting diferente cities of Brazil will be done in two bikes and will begin on September 24 in Londrina, and will end on December 9 in São Paulo. Going through 23 cities, the trip will aim to strengthen the company's ties with its partners. The estimate is that online betting can move around US$1.65 billion per year.
"We are part of a very large community that is always in touch, but in a virtual way. Gamblers Trip is a project that will bring us closer to our audience by making a personal eye contact. We will exchange ideas and experiences because in a country of continental dimensions, much information about football matches is concentrated in their respective regions, so Gamblers Trip will seek local information to indicate the best bets " explained Roberto.
During the trip, the Betting Club will give cash prizes to the best bettors. The main prize will be a Harley-Davidson. To participate in the meetings, the interested ones has jut to enter to the Betting Club website and click on the Gamblers Trip icon. The page offers guidelines for applying.
There are two types of bettors: the professionals, who play the activity as their main source of income, and the amateurs, who see leisure in investments or just an extra gain of money. These two ways of facing bets will be discussed and analyzed during the meetings in Brazil.
"We want to bring people together and show that sports betting can be fun as well as a source of income for those who engage in it. This activity brings together sports fans, ones that study the subjetc, and requires technical knowledge, financial management, emotional control and discipline," said the founder of the project.
Bets still suffer some rejection within the national territory. Many still tie this activity to games of chance, prohibited in Brazil.
"For cultural, ideological and religious reasons, Brazil is still far behind when it comes to sports betting. Few people know that it is possible to bet online. The only physical house in the country that can be wagered is the lottery, run by the government via Caixa Econômica Federal. And the quotation offered by it is harmful to anyone who wants to make money. Our way of working is to make money on a long term, not from day to night," added Roberto Tavares.
