Svenska Spel Sport & Casino is now able to offer customers a selection of online casino games developed by SG Digital's in-house studio, as well as content from various third-party developers.
“The SG Digital team has been instrumental in helping us launch our new casino and bingo sites on the day the re-regulated Swedish gaming market launched,” Svenska Spel Sport & Casino managing director Fredrik Wastenson said.

Svenska Spel has been offering legal online wagering in Sweden for some time now, but only received the green light to expand into the casino vertical following the market's re-regulation. The expanded legal market went live on January 1, with Svenska Spel creating the Svenska Spel Sport & Casino division to compete against private operators.
The Swedish-facing operator is only running its Spela.svenskaspel.se website in the market, with other licensed operators opting for a multi-site approach
SG Digital is active with number of other operators in Sweden, with its content live across more than 50 brand partners in the region. It struck an agreement to power Svenska Spel's regulated offering in April 2018.
