European Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform Sportito announces its arrival in Brazil

Sportito, one of the most recognized Fantasy Sports (DFS) platforms in Europe, announced that it will offer competitions to the Brazilian market, just four months after its launch in India. Brazil is the first country in Latin America where Sportito will operate and will be the third one where the platform is available. Sportito Brasil will offer its players national and international competitions of football, basketball, tennis, golf and cricket, as well as volleyball and hockey.

"In recent years, the Brazilian Fantasy Sports market has grown remarkably, fueling the appetite of many sports fans and enthusiasts who like to get closer to the teams, players and sports they love," said Riccardo Mittiga, CEO of Sports Sports.

"Brazil is an important market for Sportito as it combines the most passionate football fans from around the world with tech-savvy young users (between 18 and 35) - exactly the kind of person who likes to compete at Sportito."

Regarding Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), a study by Technavio found that Brazil's growing market could reach US$ 1.5 billion by 2020, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (TCAC) of over 20%. Daily Fantasy Football contributes approximately 60% to the DFS industry in Brazil.

Brazil is the first country in Latin America where Sportito will operate and will be the third one where the platform is available. Sportito Brasil will offer its players national and international football competitions, as well as Basketball, Tennis, Golf and Cricket. There are plans to introduce Volleyball and Hockey by the end of the year.

The user is free from any salary cap restrictions, having the ability to choose the best players without worrying about budgets. Up-to-date real-time statistics are also available so that fans can monitor and track the performance of their live teams thanks to Sportito's partnership with Sportradar AG, a global provider of sports statistics.

"Football is played and followed by millions and millions throughout Brazil. Football, as a passion of every Brazilian, has a very wide audience, regardless of gender, age or social and economic class. The popularity of the sport and the growing Internet usage in the country has driven the growth of Fantasy games, so we intend to make our platform available in Brazil, as we have recently done in India," added Riccardo Mittiga, CEO of Sportito.

Sportito was launched in the UK in 2016 and has come a long way. Offering a Daily Fantasy Sports platform to its users, Sportito provides greater earnings and fun over traditional Fantasy Sports. Sportito gives its users the ability to win cash prizes every day without waiting until the end of the sporting season.

From the moment of its launch, Sportito has already achieved an impressive increase in its user base, thanks to the growing number of lovers of Fantasy Sports. Notably, Sportito has partnered with three historic English Premier League and Championship clubs: Queens Park Rangers FC, Burnley FC and Fulham FC. The three are official partners of the Sportito platform, bringing the game to a fan base of about 1.5 million people.
