ICE London celebrates “the future” in 2020’s event campaign

Clarion Gaming is encouraging its stakeholders drawn from every gaming vertical within the global industry to Step, Leap, Dive and Look “Into The Future”, as it unveils its high impact, four phase creative digital and print campaign in support of next year’s ICE London (4-6 February) and ICE VOX (3-4 February). “ICE London is all about the future,” stated Clarion Gaming Managing Director Kate Chambers.

The ‘Into the Future’ campaign in support of what’s widely regarded as being the most progressive and thinking gaming event on the international calendar was launched as the industry’s attention focusses on London and the thousands of product innovations that exhibitors will be presenting on the show floor, alongside the agenda setting strategic content that will be debated at the co-located ICE VOX.

“The vast majority of the 35,000-plus visitors who attend ICE London, many of them travelling thousands of miles to be with us, aren’t interested in the past – they want an insight to the future,” stated Clarion Gaming Managing Director Kate Chambers.

“Whether delegates are interested in future technology, future regulation, future trends, future lifestyle changes, opportunities or challenges – ICE London is all about the future. Other events may be more comfortable with the status quo, but our passion, and that of our stakeholders, is to embrace what’s next, hence the 2020 campaign in support of ICE London and ICE VOX,” Chambers added.

Explaining the background to, and inspiration for, the campaign, she also said: “On the basis that you can’t go wrong by taking stock of what your stakeholders think and say, our 2020 theme was inspired by a quote from Richard Schuetz, who has held many senior positions in the industry. Richard said, and I quote: “At ICE, one sees the latest technologies, which is why I always argue that ICE is like stepping into the future. That is the magic of ICE.”
